1. RDK-03003 – Unable to Connect to Xfinity TV

This error code doesn’t need any explanation. It simply means that your TV can’t connect to the server. 

When it error happens, it comes with a troubleshooting step:

“We are having trouble connecting to the X1 platform”

How to fix the RDK-O3003 error you ask? Follow these steps:

  • Turn off the Xfinity TV Box by unplugging it from the wall socket.
  • Wait for 10 seconds, plug it back in, and then restart the device. 

Check all the wires going in and out of your TV. If anything is lost or damaged, fix it. This should fix the issue. 

2. RDK-03030 – We’re Having Trouble Connecting to Internet

If you’re facing this error, it means there are some internet connectivity issues. Along with the error code, this is the message you’ll get on your screen:

“We’re having trouble connecting to the Internet. Please check that your cables are tightly secured and try again. If that doesn’t work, go to xfinity.com/support/status or use the Xfinity My Account app to check for service outages and get additional troubleshooting tips.”

Here are the troubleshooting steps for RDK-03030:

  • Check if your internet service is working. If you’re able to connect to the internet on other devices, then move on to the next step.
  • Restart your Xfinity TV Box by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds. You can also use your voice remote and say “Restart TV Box” into the Voice Remote.
  • If nothing works for you, call customer support or go to Xfinity’s official website to chat with a customer representative.

3. XRE-00250 – Something is Not Quite Right

This is another common Xfinity X1 error code. When this error comes up, you’ll get a corresponding message:

“Something is not quite right. Please give us a call at 1-800-XFINITY and we’ll get this fixed for you.”

To fix this issue, there are 2 things you can do:

  • Check all the connected devices to see if something has been disconnected.
  • If you find a device disconnected, connect it and try to watch TV again.
  • If nothing works, contact customer support or talk to a representative online on the Xfinity website. 

4. RDK-10000 – Something is Not Quite Right 

This is another “Something is Not Quite Right” error that frequently comes on users’ devices. 

With this error code, you’ll see this error message. You can fix this issue with simple troubleshooting steps:

  • First off, check all the cables going in and going out of your device. Make sure all the connections are fixed in their ports.
  • Unplug all the cable boxes from their power sockets, wait for just 10 seconds, and then restart your devices. 
  • This should fix the error you’re receiving. If none of the errors work, talking to Xfinity customer support is the best thing you can do. 

5. XRE-02022 – X1 Disconnected

The XRE-02022 Xfinity error codes suggests that your Xfinity X1 or Flex needs to be reconnected. You have to reconnect your X1 or Flex to be able to continue streaming.

When this error comes up on your screen, you’ll see this message:

“Let’s get your entertainment back up and running. Visit xfinity.com/myaccount or the Xfinity My Account app for important account information.”

Here’s what you need to do to fix this issue:

If you have X1 TV Box with a Power Button

  • To fix this, press and hold the power button on your TV Box for 2 seconds. 
  • Let go of the TV box and wait for a couple of seconds.
  • Restart your TV, and wait for it to boot up. Once it boots up successfully, it should fix the issue.

If you have an X1 TV Box or Flex Streaming Device without a Power Button

  • Unplug the TV Box from the wall socket, and keep it out for 10 seconds. 
  • Plug the box back in again, turn it on, and let it boot up.

Your TV should successfully turn back on. Your error code should disappear. If you’re still facing any issues, contact the Xfinity customer support team. They’d be able to help you fix the issue from their end. 

6. XRE-03041 & XRE-03042  – We’re Having Some Trouble

This is one of the most common Xfinity X1 error codes that come up to users. With this error code, you’ll receive this error message:

“Sorry, we’re having some trouble. Please tighten your cable connections then restart all of your TV Boxes to fix this issue. While the restart is in progress, you will not be able to watch TV and recordings may be interrupted.”

To fix this error code, follow these steps:

  • Restart your TV box by selecting the “Restart All” button that you see under the error message. 
  • If you continue to see this error code, contact Xfinity customer support, or chat online with the team.
